Day 01 : Delhi
Arrive at Delhi and transfer to hotel. On arrival check in and after that Introduction & briefing on the program. Evening free for site seeing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: New Delhi – New Jalpaiguri
Afternoon take train Guwahati Rajdhani for New Jalpaiguri. Overnight in the train.

Day 03: NJP-Darjeeling (2130m) 95km
Reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:25. On arrival transfer to hotel. Take rest during the day and evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel. 

The mesmerizing East

Day 04: Darjeeling-sightseeing.
Morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of Darjeeling including Observatory hill, Ghoom Momatery, Tiger Hill, ea Gardens. Evening dinner with bonfire. Overnight at hotel.

GHOOM MONASTERY

No visit to Darjeeling is complete without a visit to Ghoom, which is six kilometres away from the main town. The hillock is dominated by the famous Yiga Choeling Monastery and a 4.5-metre tall image of the Maitreya Buddha.

OBSERVATORY HILL

Strolling up the Mall, past the quaint Tibetan market, you arrive at the Observatory Hill, the popular meeting place for tourists as well as residents. It is a major tourist spot of Darjeeling, not only for its religious importance but also for the picturesque views the place offers. The view of the magnificent Mt. Kanchenjunga and the entire landscape below is a site worth seeing.

TIGER HILL

A strategic point to watch the spectacular sunrise is Tiger Hill, located at an altitude of 2,590 metres above sea level. It offers a magnificent view of the rising sun over the snow-capped Mt. Kanchenjunga and other great Eastern Himalayan peaks. You can also witness some of the high Himalayan peaks from here on a clear day.

TEA GARDENS

While in Darjeeling get to know some little-known details of the cuppa that cheers by visiting the tea gardens that dot the valley. In fact, the Darjeeling tea has attained for itself a name and a flavour that can neither be matched nor duplicated. There was a time when Darjeeling tea was a brew against which all other brands of tea used to be graded. Even today, connoisseurs fondly refer to it as the champagne of teas.

Day 05: Darjeeling-Sandakphu (3636m) 58km----Jeep 
Morning after breakfast drive for Sandakphu. On reaching camp in Sandakphu. Enjoy the beautiful scenery there.
Overnight at camp.

Day 06: Sandakphu- Phalut (3600m) 21km ----Trek
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Phalut. The trek begins with a sharp descent and proceeds at a fairly level stretch for 13 km. The last mile is a series of zigzags leading directly to the bungalow. Phalut, the tri-junction of Sikkim, Nepal and India, presents the same view of the snows as Sandakphu.
Stay at camp there. Overnight in the camp.

Day 07: Phalut –Gorkey (2850m) 15km----Trek
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Gorkey. It is a steep downhill trek.
Here we halt for the night at an altitude of 7500 ft.

Day 08: Gorkey-Rammam (2560m) 9km---Trek
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Rammam. Reach there in the afternoon and camp. Overnight at camp.

Day 09: Rammam-Srikhola (2100m) 11km----Trek
The trek through the dense forests of Rhododendron, silver firs, oaks and Magnolias and Hemlocks leads you to Srikhola. As the word Khola denotes we rest besides the Shiri river for the night. Overnight at Srikhola at camp.

Day 10: Srikhola-Rimbik (2286m) 8km trek –Mirik
The trek to Rimbik is fairly easy and it takes about three hours if one takes an easy walk. Here the trek ends. From here we proceed to Mirik. Overnight at Mirik.

Day 11: Mirik- NJP. 65 Kms.
Morning drive for New Jalpaiguri, enroute visit the Mirik Lake, the beautiful 1.25 Km long lake is the most attractive spot with facility for boating. On arrival in New Jalpaiguri check in hotel.Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: NJP - New Delhi
Morning free and take Guwahati Rajdhani at 12:40 for New Delhi. Overnight in train. Reach New Delhi next morning at 10:10.
