Maryann Ayim who was on an expedition to climb Stok Kangri from 1st June 2008 to 14th June 2008

My birthday gift to myself this year was a chance to climb Stok Kangri in the Indian Himalayas.  I booked with Sanjay Saini of Escapade Adventures. Although we didn't make the summit due to unusually high snowfall and consequent avalanche danger,  we gave it a good try and at least got higher than base camp.

The scenery was outstanding, with panoramic views of neighbouring peaks, abundant mountain wildflowers, and marmots which kept us entertained for a long period.  I was hoping to lose a few pounds on the trip, but the food was too good.  The cook was up there in a class all by himself, and I'm afraid I had to come back to Canada to lose weight!

Ilan Cohn who traveled to Rajasthan from 17th November 2007 to 1st December 2007

On behalf of my group of 5 I would like to thank you and the Escapade team for a wonderful trip we had in Rajasthan. You and your team did a great job in working out of our trip down to the last details starting from the airport pick up through to designing a program for two weeks that met our exact desired specification.

Sanjay, your driver that was with us for the entire 2 weeks of our trip proved a pleasant companion and a capable tour escort and was helpful every step of the way.

Overall we feel luck to have received good value for the money we paid and look forward to the next opportunity to travel through another part of India WITH YOUR Assistance.

Kind regards,
Dr. Ilan Cohn, Israel

Several unforeseensituations during the travel both in Ladakh and Delhi, Agra and Jaipur weredealt with promptly and professionally. Overall, really happy with theservice received"

Ms Lucy Hawker & Mr. Tom Harris from UK did trekking trip to Kuari Pass from 19.10.2006 - 28.10.2006

We had a really good time trekking in northern india. The route was breathtaking and we were very lucky with the weather. Sam, our guide was really helpful and accomodating and the logistics were well sorted out by Sachin in delhi. All in all a great trip although would have preferred to avoid the temples as once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all.
Thanks very much,
Lucy and Tom

Ms Kim Slender along with her 5 friends from Sydney, Australia travelled to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar & Rishikesh from 06.10.2006 - 14.10.2006.

Dear Sachin,
We are now all well and truly back into the swing of things in Sydney.
The girls and I had the most unbelievable holiday. We were impressed with your professionalism and competence.
Everything went smoothly from the time you picked us up at the airport at 3.30 in the morning until the time you dropped us back 2 weeks later. Each and every transfer, hotel, museum entry and sightseeing excursion, went exactly as planned, and even when there was a problem with a hotel booking, you came through and organised other rooms for us.
We also wanted to thank you for supplying guides that were knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They really made the sight seeing component of our trip both worthwhile and memorable.
Our special thanks for providing Sarwan, our wonderful driver, who looked after like us, like we were his own daughters. His driving was professional and with out fault.
I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your services to anyone, and would be glad for you to provide my e-mail address to any prospective clients.
Until the next time in India, ( I hope not too long), I wish you all the best and thank you for an incredible journey.

Ms Michele Smith & Mr. Brian Ilardo did trek to Kuari Pass clubbed with Delhi, Haridwar & Agra from 27.09.2006 - 09.10.2006

Sanjay, Sachin and the entire team at Escapade Adventures organized an unforgettable trip for us. They made every effort to understand the type of trip and experience we were looking for and worked tirelessly to make sure we were happy. While in India, they made a point to meet with us and were never more than a phone call away if we had a question or wanted to make a slight change.

US Travel companies can learn a thing or two from Escapade Adventures' integrity, work ethic and commitment to deliver an outstanding vacation for their clients.

Mrs. & Mr. Eugene Allan Jongsma did Mystic of India tour from 12.01.2006 – 27.01.2006 which covers all four corners of India in a short span of 15 days including Delhi, Darjeeling, Kolkata, Mumbai, Cochin, Thekkady (Periyar) & Agra.

Dear Sachin,

We want to thank you and all of your colleagues at Escapade for providing us with a wonderful travel experience.  Since this was our first trip to India, we decided to take the “Mystic of India” tour which gives a taste of many different parts of the subcontinent.  We are so glad we did.  We would recommend this itinerary highly for any visitors who had two weeks to travel and wanted to get a good overview of India.

The itinerary you arranged gave us an excellent introduction to the geographic and cultural diversity within India.  It also offered a wonderful balance between fast-paced urban touring and calmer rural exploration.  For example, after sampling the sights of busy Delhi, the peace and calm of Darjeeling in the Himalayan foothills was a welcome change.  Likewise, our city tour of the hustle and bustle of Mumbai was followed by the solitude of Lake Periyar and a relaxing rice boat cruise on the backwaters of Kerala.  We felt especially fortunate to spend the last two days of our tour visiting the Taj in Agra and viewing the Republic Day parade in Delhi.

The personal service you offered us was superior.  Your willingness to customize the itinerary to meet our preferences, your monitoring of the trip to make sure everything was going as planned, and the final debriefing you offered at the conclusion of the trip went well beyond the services of the average tour company.

We look forward to returning to India again some day.  When we do, we will certainly use your services.  In the meantime, we wish you well.  May Escapade continue to grow and prosper.

Mrs. & Mr. Jean Pierre Hillegger from Belgium did Wildlife tour of India covering Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh & Corbett National Park along with Varanasi & Mussoorie from 01.03.2006 – 27.03.2006.

Dear Sachin and Sanjay,
It is now two weeks that we are back home and we keep on having good memories on our wildlife tour 2006 in India. We really are very satisfied of your service and we would like to thank (especially Sachin) for his good help. We still keep on having good memories and they will last for long… that is for sure. A lot of greetings to all of you (also Neeti) and I sent some pictures with this mail.

Thanks for everything and hope to see you next time ... on our Ladakh trip...

Dear Sachin and all at Adventure Cultural Tours,

Mr. Sridhar Vajapey from California, Mr.Sachidanand Murthy from Bangalore and group of 14 people visited Chardham from 27 June 2004 - 9 July 2004.
Our Chardham Trip was really a trip of a lifetime. A tour bus was arranged just for our group and this worked out very well. The 27 seator that was arranged for us was comfortable. Thanks to Escapade Adventures & Holidays, Mr. Sanjay Saini, to our tour guide Mr. Sachin Rawat, our bus driver Mr. Bhaghwan Singh and his able assistant. The whole trip was well organized and conducted in a highly professional manner. The bus driving was safe.

The accommodations were better than what we have expected. Staying in tents outside the city limits is recommended. The tents were spaciuos and the beds were comfortable. The bed sheets and beds were clean. The bathrooms were clean as well. The food and mess were excellent. Special meal requests were accommodated with smile. The food was well cooked, fresh and tasty.

The itinerary was good. The trip was well sequenced and changes to our preset itinerary was made with no trouble. We had to make changes along the way a couple of times because of weather and road conditions.

If you are planning a trip over to Himalayas, I would highly recommend a trip with Ecapade Adventures & Holidays and Mr. Sachin Rawat.

Mrs. & Mr. Roger Creagh Osborne from UK travelled to Jaipur-Jodhpur-Pushkar & Rafting Camp Hammock in Rishikesh between 06.10.2003 to 17.10.2003. E-mail:
, Sanjay thank you and your staff very much for all your help and organisation whilst we were in India. Everything seemed to be very well organised and the only problem was when we got off the train in Delhi we thought that there was to be someone to meet us - we waited on platform and at exit for about 20 mins then got a rickshaw to the hotel ok, so no problem. Anyway if you want to give my email address to prospective clients as a reference, I would be happy to reassure them that your service is first rate. Best regards, and many thanks for a very enjoyable trip

By Ms Sue Levine, Cleaveland ( US ) Travelled for a yoga trip combined with Taj Mahal from 29th Dec. 2002 to 7th Jan. 2003, E mail :

" I decided at the last minute I wanted to go to India to study yoga and see some of the country, so I did a search on the internet and found Sanjay. It was a lucky thing I did! He created a trip that included everything I wanted, and all the arrangements when I got there were flawless. He knows the country well, and so I got to see places that the average tourist would not know about. He made sure everything was taken care of every step of the way, and I was able to enjoy myself completely with no worries about my safety or what would happen next. If you want to see Inida, I would say just tell Sanjay what you are looking for, and it's as good as done."

By Mr. Saravanan, from singapore, travelled to Gaya, Varanasi and mountains of Uttaranchal between 5th Dec. 2002 to 17 Dec. 2002.

"I came across Escapade adventures india on the net, while I was searching for a tour operator. Even though I wrote to many, Escapade gave me the right attention and information needed to construct a customised trip. And I bascically tailored my own customised prog via email correspondence. Sanjay, was very proffesional and adjusting in many ways to accomodate my preferences as well as budget. In the end we came up with an itenary which was trully affordable and covered all the places I wanted to see, including Gaya, Varanasi and then mountains of uttaranchal. My trip was simply excellent. Had an excellent guide who took care of my every need and was very knowledgeble as well. I covered all the places I wanted to see in a comfortable n safe manner. I was a little apprehensive at the start as I was doing the trip on my own, but at the end, I sort of had the feeling that they were my family. There was always a warm and accomodating atmospehere in the way I was taken care of. It was more than just a tour operator and a tourist kinda relationship, it was more than just business. On the whole, I would strongly recommend Escapade Adventures & Holidays India and Sanjay to anyone who wants to tour India even though you are travelling alone. You can be assured of proffesionalism, cost effectiveness and above all warmth and sincerity in your dealings. I would be glad to give more information to anyone who wants more information. Pls wrie to me : "

Mr. Frederick Dudbridge student from UK travelled to Uttranchal, Agra and Kerala in Feb/March 2002

Having never been to India before and only being armed with a Lonely Planet I set off round the net looking for some advice. Luckily I arrived on Sanjays site and after an exchange of emails had sorted out an itinery for me at a very competitive price. This turned out to be the most breathtaking trip and I have no way to thank Sanjay for the personal service and massive amounts of work he put into it. Everything from the massive mountains of the Himalayas (where I never saw another tourist) to the Taj Mahal (where I saw millions) were included and skiing white, water rafting and an encounter with a leopard in the Himalayas to the relaxed backwaters of Kerala. I learnt how to make a roti and learnt more about life in India than I could ever had done on my own. Thank you Sanjay, Sobat, Neeti and Vats. I will be back.

Dr Adidam from University of Nebraska at Omaha travelled to Badrinath in May 2001

In May 2001, my mother and I were planning a visit to Badrinath. We were coming from USA to India for a VERY short trip, and had to accomplish a religious ritual at Badrinath. GMVN's tour timings were not suiting our requirements at all, and hence we decided to go for an independent travel agency. After surfing through the internet, we came upon various travel agents' websites. Sanjay was the first to respond to our enquiry. We liked the rates, however since I hadn't heard about this agency before, I was naturally skeptical about it. After an exchange of several emails, I slowly began to trust Sanjay, and agreed to become his client. I am glad that I made this decision. Sanjay made really good arrangements for our trip. EVERYTHING about our trip was exceptional--the car, the hotels, the driver, and the schedule. In the past I had been to the Garhwal and Kumaon regions several times, however this was by far the BEST trip! Due to this trip, I have become Sanjay's permanent client, and plan to take up his services on each and every trip to India.
