Yoga is a part of the ancient life-disciplines that have been practiced in India for centuries. Yoga finds mention in the scriptures of the Vedas and Upanishads. Yoga is the science of the union with the Divine, with Truth. Yoga is an art of living a healthy, balance, peaceful and contented life. Yoga being a total integrated system, studies in wholeness body, mind and spirit and is integrated to certain principles, ideas, values, attitudes and a way of life for personal and social benefits.
AYURVEDA
Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that operates in tune with nature, Making it a more holistic and natural healing technique that believes, in treating the individual rather than the disease. It is not only a system to cure disease but the system teaching us how to achieve ' Better and Improved Health'. Most of us believe that our present level of physical and mental activity cannot be improved. However Ayurveda, the 3000 years old, Indian system of medicine prescribes time tested and trusted methods to improve your physical and mental activity irrespective of the age group. Ayurveda has a global acceptance today and is the only system of medicine in the world which has methods to totally rejuvenate the body and mind.
When it comes to Ayurveda, Yoga or Meditation, the first place that comes to our mind is Kerala. When it comes to rejuvenating yourself, there's no better destination in India than the Backwaters of Kerala.
Duration: 11 Days/ 10 Nights
Day 01: Delhi – Trivandrum
Transfer to the domestic airport to catch a flight for Trivandrum. On arrival transfer to hotel. Day free for sight seeing. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Trivandrum- Kumarakom
After breakfast in the morning leave for Kumarakom. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening go for a walk in the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, surrounded by beautiful lush green trees. The place is a paradise for nature lovers. For those fond of bird watching, the sanctuary serves as the best place, as it is home to a large variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kumarakom
In the morning go for a yoga session in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. After breakfast go to the Ayurvedic center for some rejuvenating Ayurvedic treatment. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Kumarakom
In the morning go for another yoga session in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. After breakfast go to the Ayurvedic center for the next round of Ayurvedic treatment. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Kumarakom
In the morning go for another yoga session in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. After breakfast go to the Ayurvedic center for your Ayurvedic treatment. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Kumarakom
In the morning go for another yoga session in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. After breakfast go to the Ayurvedic center for your last Ayurvedic treatment. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Kumarakom
After breakfast in the morning transfer to the houseboat for an enchanting and mesmerizing ride of the famous backwaters of Kerala. Overnight at houseboat.
Day 08: Cochin
After breakfast in the morning arrive at New Jetty and transfer by road to Cochin. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening go for a city tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Cochin-Delhi
In the morning go for the last yoga session of the trip. After breakfast leave for the airport to catch a flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Delhi
After breakfast go for a full day city tour of Delhi. The tour starts with Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, India Gate, Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Depart Delhi
After breakfast leave for International airport to continue with onward journey. Tour ends
