Wildlife Tour of India
 

India is a rich country in terms of wildlife patches and its diversity has encouraged the flourishing of a whole range of wildlife with over 350 species of mammals and 1200 species of birds in the country. While there is an overlap in the habitats of many species, each region has something special to offer. Two of India's most impressive animals, the Indian Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant are found in most regions. The tiger originated in Central Asia and migrated over the great Himalayas to the dense tropical forests, adapting itself well to the plains .A herd of elephants in the wild is a breath taking sight. These huge mammals are respected by all animals, including the Tiger.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport meet the representative of the company and transfer you to the hotel for check in and overnight stay.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After a leisurely breakfast go for a sightseeing tour of Delhi where the historic buildings recall the days of the British empire. Visit  the 11th century Qutab Minar ,India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House , Red fort , Mahatama Gandhi Memorial. Also visit the lotus temple. Overnight at hotel.

Wildlife Tour of India

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (257 kms / 5 hrs drive)
After early breakfast  drive to the pink city of Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Later sightseeing of Jaipur city visiting Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds(This five storied building which looks out over the main street of the old city is one of Jaipur's major landmarks.) Jantar Mantar - The Observatory (The Observatory, built by Raja Jai Singh in1728) and City Palace Museum (City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture). Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur
After breakfast visiy Amer Fort (Situated atop the Aravali hills Ameris the ancient capital of Jaipur and a magnificent example of Rajput architecture). Later in the day visit the Jaigarh Fort (Overlooking the Moata Lake and dating back to the 11th century, to see the world's biggest cannon. Evening free to explore the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Ranthanbore ( 190 kms / 04 hrs drive)
After early breakfast drive to Ranthabore. On arrival to Ranthanbore check in at hotel/resort.  In the evening go for an elephant safari to spot tiger and animals in the wilderness. Overnight  at hotel/resort.

Day 06 : Rantahnbore - Bharatpur ( 335 kms / 07 hrs drive)
After  early breakfast drive to Bharatpur (Asia largest bird sanctuary known for its variety of birds from all around the world). On arrival check into the hotel/resort. In the evening visit the jungle on Rikshaws to view the birds in their natural undisturbed habitat, feeding and tenting their young. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 07 : Bharatpur - Agra ( 60 kms / 1 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast drive Agra. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (The desert capital of Moghuls and forbidden city built by emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son Jahangir). On arrival to Agra check into the hotel. After lunch go for a guided tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort, Sikandra Fort and the unforgettable TAJ MAHAL ( 7th wonder of the world and perhaps the most beautiful monument ever built in the history, for love. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shahjah in sweet memories of his beloved Mumtaj).Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Agra - Jhansi - Orchha-Khajuraho
After breakfast transfer to the railway station to board train for Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi visit the magnificent Orchha Fort (Orcha lies 11 kilometers from Jhansi and although now little more than a village, it was once the capital of Orcha state.).  Later drive to Khajuraho ( Khajuraho was the capital of the flourishing Chandela Dynasty during 09th to 13th centuries. There are about 85 temples which took 100 years to built). On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Khajuraho
After breakfast go for a full day guided tour of Western and Eastern Group of world famous Chandela Temples. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Khajuraho –Banhavgarh (240 kms / 05 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh. On arrival transfer to hotel/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 11 : Bandavgarh
After breakfast go for a jungle safari and come back to the hotel/resort for lunch. After lunch go for an elephant safari in the other part of the national park. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 12 : Bandavgarh - Kanha ( 325 kms / 07 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Kanha. On arrival transfer to hotel/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 12 : Kanha National Park
After breakfast a full day of Jungle activities into the wildlife sanctuary. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 13 : Kanha - Nagpur (300 kms. / 6 hrs. drive)
After breakfast Elephant/Jeep safari into the jungle to view early morning activities of Indian Swamp, Deer, Black buck, Indian Bison, Leopard, Tigerand other animals. In the afternoon drive to Nagpur for overnight stay.

Day 14 : Nagpur - Mumbai ( Flight )
After breakfast in the hotel the rest of the day will be fee for leisure and other personal activities. In the evening transfer to the airport to board flight to Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day15 : Mumbai Sightseeing
After breakfast go for a half-day tour of Gateway of India (This symbolic national landmark, the Marble arch of India, designed by George Wittet to commemorate the visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911. It was also the point of exit for the last British regiment to leave India). Later tour to Elephanta Caves by motor boat (These 7th century rock - cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are situated on the top a hill on the island). Also visit Princes of Wales Museum In the evening drive through the beautiful Marine Drive with ever lasting memories of the day. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 :  Mumbai
After Breakfast transfer to the international airport to connect your flight to onward destination.

Day 01 - Delhi :

Day 01: Delhi – Sariska (By surface 220Kms)

Morning leave for Sariska, arrive & check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Sariska Tiger Reserve by Jeep Safari to watch different varieties of animals such as tiger, panther, leopard, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, and Antelopes etc. Return to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Sariska – Jaipur (By surface 110Kms)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. This historic city was founded by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh in 1727 AD after shifting his capital from Amer valley to newly formed and planned city of its time after consulting so many maps of the world and finally organized own religious map Shilpa Shastra with the help of a young Bengali architect Vidyadhar Batacharya. Maharaja Swai Jai Singh was a builder, astronomer, astrologer, soldier, philospher. Presently, Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan & is world famous as the Pink City. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Later leave Hotel to explore sightseeing of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal (palace of winds) where from royal ladies were watching daily processions and life. Afterwards visit Amer Fort by elephant ride, that gives you the experience and impression of how Maharajas & royal family members were using the services of elephants. Also visit City Palace Museum, Astrological Observatory and local busy markets. Return to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Jaipur – Ranthambore (By surface 235 kms)
Morning leave for Ranthambore, arrive and check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit RANTHAMBORE TIGER RESERVE by Jeep Safari to watch so many varieties of animals specially TIGER, panther, leopard, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, Antelopes and so many birds. Return back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04: Ranthambore – Bharatpur (By surface 185 kms, 3-4hrs)
Morning leave for Bharatpur, arrive and check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Asia ‘s largest birds Sanctuary namely “Kaldeo Gana birds National Park”  to watch so many varieties of birds. The specialty during winter is the migration of Siberian cranes. Return to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Bharatpur – Agra (By surface 56 kms, 2-3 hrs)
Morning after breakfast leave for Agra. Enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the 16th century medieval capital city of the Mughals abandoned barely six years after its completion. Its wealth of beautiful red sandstone structures contains the emperor's apartments, the Hall of Private Audience where the emperor received and conferred with special visitors, the carved, airy apartment called the Turkish Sultana's House; the Hall of Public Audience, a courtyard Pachisi board where, it is said, colorfully dressed ladies of the court served as pieces in chess games played by royalty, and an elegant five storied pavilion called Panch Mahal. On arrival in Agra check in hotel. Later in the afternoon we visit the incomparable Taj Mahal. Commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Mahan as a memorial to his dead wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the mausoleum is the result of hard work of more than 20,000 workmen and 22 years, from 1631 to 1653, to complete. Evening free for souvenir shopping or activity of your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Agra – Delhi (By surface 275Kms)
Morning after breakfast leave for Delhi by road. On arrival at Delhi Tour concludes.
