SIYALSAUR – TRIYUGINARAYAN – CHOPTA – TUNGNATH – CHILLA
 

Day 01 : DELHI – HARIDWAR .(Drive 210 kms)

Depart from Delhi in the afternoon for Haridwar to reach in the evening. On arrival check in the Hotel Vinayak / Hotel Le Grand or equivalent. Evening visit Har Ki Pauri and attend the Aarti. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 02 : HARIDWAR – SIYALSAUR. (Drive 231 kms)

Morning depart for Siyalsaur to reach in the evening . On arrival check in GMVN Rest house set amidst lovely surroundings in Mandakini valley. On a clear day the sun set on the high Himalayan peak is a great sight from the rest house. Overnight in the rest house.           

SIYALSAUR – TRIYUGINARAYAN – CHOPTA – TUNGNATH – CHILLA

Day 03 : SIYALSAUR – TRIYUGINARAYAN – SIYALSAUR. (Drive 40 kms, trek 6 Kms round trip)

After breakfast in the Morning leave for Triyuginarayan. Drive of 40 kms get you to Sonprayag. From there a trek of 3 kms to reach Triyuginarayan .Enjoy the trek in high altitude and come back to Sonprayag to drive back to reach Siyalsaur by evening. Dinner & Overnight in the GMVN rest house in Siyalsaur.              

Day 04 : SIYALSAUR – CHOPTA . ( Drive 41 kms )

After breakfast leave for chopta to reach by noon and set up camp. After Lunch  go for a short nature walk in the surroundings. Chopta is known for its lush green Meadows and medicinal jungles. It is also The abode of Musk deer, snow Leopard and the beautiful Monal along with Himalayan vultures apart from the other small bird life. Come back to camp for dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 05 : CHOPTA – TUNGNATH ( Trek 7 kms round ) 

After breakfast go for the day trek to Tungnath and Chandrashilla summit. Reach a height of 3750 mts and on the way see the shortest tree ( a variety of Rhododendron ). Enjoy a grand view of High Himalayan peaks from there including the Chaukhamba and Kedarnath peaks. Come back in the evening to camp to enjoy another evening with bon fire. Day at leisure for the site seeing. Dinner and overnight in our camps.

Day 06 : CHOPTA

Day free in Chopta to explore the area on your own or just relax. One can also visit the musk deer farm and the Marina sheep farm close by on this day.Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 07 : CHOPTA – CHILLA

Morning leave for Chilla to reach in the evening. On arrival check in the GMVN rest house. Chilla is the main base in Rajaji National park known world over for its Asian elephants and the migratory birds coming from central Asia. Some of the painted storks have started living in the park now which also has Horn bills, king fishers, wood peckers, tree pies humming birds, and score of other Indian birds in abundance here. Park has about 355 varieties of the birds. Evening at leisure for bird watching. Overnight at GMVN rest house .

Day 08 : CHILLA – HARIDWAR – CHILLA

Morning leave for Haridwar for local site seeing. Day at leisure. Evening come back to Chilla.  Overnight in the GMVN rest house on the river side.

Day 09 : CHILLA – DELHI

Early Morning leave from Chilla to Haridwar and then Board the train to Delhi, On arrival in Delhi take the evening train to Mumbai to end the tour.
